(Ed.'s Note: These beautiful young girls with their classic Mayan features stands out in contrast with the mestizo woman behind them. Our Chiapas correspondent Benjamin Neece, now on assignment in Tuxtla Gutierrez and all point south when he sent us this photo. Sometimes, locked up in out border ambiance, we forge that there are other people in other parts of our continent unaware of our links to their lives.
Chiapas was once part of Guatemala with which it now shares a border. If you have never been to that part of the world it's an eye opener. It's also one of Mexico's prime spots for primo coffee and people grow the trees in their backyards. We thank Benjamin for this great photo. Saludos, Ben and everyone in his team.)
