(Ed.'s Note: It's a job we don't envy, but it's a job that must be done. Yesterday, while winds gusted up to 40 miles per hour, these workers from the Hiway Neon Sign company of Pharr scraped old paint and sanded the steel poles that hold up the sign to a pawn shop on International Blvd. across from Texas Southmost College. Their website states that the company has been in business since 1950. We also noticed that the man in the lift is properly wearing a safety harness. Our hats are off to that brave soul.
