What is the Cameron County District Attorney Office's Crime Victims Unit vehicle doing at 2 pm. parked in the entrance to a motel at the Island? Was the Flamingo Inn robbed? Is he/she laboring hard to get a quickie interview from a crime victim? Or are they so overworked that they have to take a nap on the sly to catch up on their zzzzs?
There really didn't seem to be much of an urgency going on, our sources reported, and quite a bit of time passed and the Crime Victims remained at the entrance to the motel. Apparently, the interview subject proved recalcitrant or played hard to get to get the info. You know what they say about getting the job done. It's practice, practice, practice!)
