TSC'S INTERIM PRES SHANNON NAMED IN CITY RESOLUTION

(Ed.'s Note: Flanked by two of his trustees, Texas Southmost College President Mike Shannon was issued a proclamation by the commissioners of the City of Brownsville. Shannon, who was named interim president when the board fired former president Lily Tercero, was credited by the resolution sponsored by commissioners Cesar de Leon and Ben Neece for holding the community college through turbulent times and making the transition to the new administration of Robert Rodriguez seamless.

TSC board president Adela Garza and trustee Raymond Hinojosa Champion and his wife Sandra accompanied Shannon to receive the resolution from the city commission.)
