(Ed.'s Note: If you have children in school, today is the day that Mike Hernandez's OP 10.33' Cameron County Education Initiative and the Amigoland Event and Convention Center will host a Back-to-School supplies giveaway and bash.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3140 E. Ruben M. Torres Blvd.Admission is free and children are required to be present to receive the supplies. The Education Initiative and Amigoland Center join several organizations – including the Cameron County District Attorney's Office – to hold the school supplies giveaway for needy Brownsville kids.)
