(Ed.s Note: Back in February we wrote about how one of our seven readers recognized the pretty woman above as Claribel Sierra, a former weather announcer for Televisa Noreste, a station right across the river in Matamoros, who had fallen into disgrace over her driving. She was arrested by officers with the Brownsville Police Department and booked charged with two counts of Intoxication Assault, classified as third degree felonies. For years, television viewers had seen Ms. Sierra reporting on numerous issues.

We don't know if the courts or if the District Attorney required her to use a car with an ignition interlock to prevent her from using it if she blew into it and it registered alcohol. But with the other cases still pending, that will probably be the case. Even if she was on probation, she will have problems. In any case, the delays in cases being heard or prosecuted probably allowed this latest mishap to happen. Fortunately, there are no indications anyone got hurt this time.)
