(Ed.'s Note: Every time we happen to be in Capt. Bob's hood, we comment on the tree he planted along the resaca in his backyard. He doesn't know the name of the tree, but he say he got it as a present from a friend of his named Rollie and that he's heard people refer to it as Christ's crown of thorns because of the thorns that cover every inch of the truck and branches. We know of at least one other such tree, but we're sure there are more. Does anyone know what species this tree is and what it is commonly called?)
