(Ed.s Note: We don't usually toot our horn, but in this case, what the hell, why not? About a week ago, Feb. 8 to be exact, we posted a photo of the defaced art work that students created on the walls of the old Capitol Theater (photo at right). We wondered if anyone was paying attention to what was happening downtown, and we'll be darned if they weren't. The editors and photogs of the Brownsville Holler were! Now, on today's front page, the same picture that was sent to us is featured on a story about the vandalism to the students' work. Hopefully, it will inspire the Powers That Be to nab the vandals and someone to restore the artwork. Hope springs eternal.)
