It never ceases to amaze us when city commissioner Jessica Tetreau proves what we suspected all along. She's an airhead.

Her latest proof positive to this is her Facebook postings (she lives in Facebook) where she decries the fact that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vows to cut grant funds from so-called sanctuary cities in Texas.
How he will do this is unknown at this time, but Abbott, a politician, is jumping on the Donald Trump bandwagon.
Now, we know from personal experience that the Border Patrol is allowed to come in to the municipal jail every morning and interviews all the prisoners to see if any undocumented are among the night's haul. Many cities in the United States – like New York and San Francisco – do not.
Tetreau should know better. After all, she's been in the calaboose herself, unless she pulled strings and got bonded out before the INS guys arrived in the morning along with the sugarless coffee and day-old sweet bread.
If Brownsville were to be penalized for being a sanctuary city, Tetreau would have to look for U.S. workers for her car wash, her gardener would have to leave, and the relatives of half the population would be deported.
This tendency of this commissioner to jump on the latest news flash to appear relevant is growing rather stale. Why doesn't she show some concern for the apparent illegalities being committed by her mayor Tony Martinez, the cad that is the city attorney, and the millions being sucked by the likes of Carlos Marin, Oscar Garcia and the robber barons over at United Brownsville?
And we thought Trump had a problem with Tweeter.
