Nationally, various polls place Democrats Biden-Harris ahead of the Republican Trump-Pence ticket. The latest UT poll in Texas shows Trump with a 5 percent point lead over Biden [50-45] with a 3.35 margin of error, almost a dead tie. However, Trump is lagging behind in the support of women, with Biden also leading Trump by 5 percent. With voting by mail already under way, it would seem that every vote will count and could make a difference.![]()
