If someone needs to get new plates or make payment arrangements on their property taxes, individual appointments are made so they can enter the building and deal with it personally. Staff indicates that they will make face masks available should customers need one.
At the other end of town, the drive-thru windows of the Public Utility Board are blocked off and no one can use them to pay their bills. The board recently passed a policy to suspend penalties for late payments and discontinue utility disconnects.
