Word has leaked from the sieve-like county that all of the precinct's road crews have been sidelined and have been put into mandatory quarantine after one of their workers tested positive for the virus.
He allegedly contracted the virus after talking with a crew member of a neighboring water district, who later tested positive. Is that water district's crews and the worker's family and friends also on quarantine?

Pct. 4 Commissioner Gus Ruiz - usually the first to toot his horn on everything that happens in his precinct - has so far withheld any information on the mandatory quarantine imposed on the road crews in his area.
The precinct is easily the largest one land-wise in the four in the county and borders on Hidalgo County and includes Santa Rosa, La Feria, Santa Maria as well as a slice of Harlingen.

County precincts are carved out based on population, with each one of the four tallying just over 100,00-plus residents.
