Luis graduated from Los Fresnos High School and then went to receive his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from UTRGV.
He was a caseworker and employed by Caliburn Company and Foot Action. Luis was involved in The Squad, Customs Explores, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. His enjoyments in life included Bar-B-Qing, dancing, singing, collecting Sneakers, selfies, fishing and Corvettes. An avid sports enthusiast and a huge fan of the Texans, Astros, and the Rockets.
His paternal grandparents Luis & Margarita Perez preceded Luis in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Luis & Adelita Perez, Brothers: Estefan Luis Perez, and Army PVT. Luis Alejandro Perez: niece Eva Stelle Perez; maternal grandmother Francisca Hernandez; honorary grandparents Carlos & Gloria Paz; several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brownsville, Texas. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
