A team of teens and their chaperones from a study group at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral fanned out from the rear patio of the church with turkey plates greeting groups of homeless, handing out the meals wishing them a Happy Thanksgiving.
The group circled the area around the inner city as the homeless prepared to bed down on doorways and plasma donors waited for their turn to enter the building, the teens handed them a meal and wished them a Happy Thanksgiving. Whatever your opinion may be about the homeless, the teens apparently felt that even they deserved a share of the coming feast today and extended them a bit of Christian charity. Our hats off to them and we wish a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all!)
