(Ed.'s Note: District 404th District Court candidate Ass. District Judge Louis Sorola was caught placing this window  campaign sticker on a supporters' truck Monday evening as county workers were streaming out of the courthouse after closing time. Usually, many candidates leave that to paid campaign workers, but Sorola's grassroots campaign chores includes placing yard signs and  car window stickers himself.

Incumbent 404th District Judge Elia Cornejo-Lopez has indicated she will retire and will not seek reelection, opening the way for other candidates. Besides Sorola - who is married to JP 2-3 Mary Esther Sorola and has Pct. 1 commissioner Sofie Beanvides as his mother-in-law -  Rancho Viejo municipal judge Ricardo Adobatti is also running.

It is doubtful that you will see Adobbati - who sports a $15,000 Rolex in some campaign signs and charges $250 a head ($500 a couple) to attend his events and require that they bring their own empanadas - either posting signs or climbing atop the back of a truck to place a campaign sticker. In a county where the household income hovers at $34,000, will the Rolex-owning voters crowd to the polls to support blue-stocking Adobbati? We thank one of our seven readers for the photo above.)
