(Ed.s' Note: Even as the GMS lawsuit over the commercial waste contract against the city wends its way through the courts, one thing that hasn't changed is the blatant pollution by the aging rolling stock of the GMS dump trucks.
Surely someone at the GMS compound (a mechanic, perhaps or supervisor) is aware of the loss of hydraulic oil that leaves puddles such as those above in a city alley. Surely something can be done to remedy this pollution before the lawsuit is settled with the city.
Or is GMS waiting for the outcome before investing in its equipment and reducing the pollution it is causing in the city?)
