And Texas Department of Public Safety officers have began to avoid filing in her court because - in he endeavor to curry favor with defendants - she often dismisses cases or forgoes the fines that would eventually go to county coffers. And in order to clear the backlog of cases in her court, she had dismissed them wholesale and called them "clear."
It's clear that this public office is being used to Salazar's personal and economical benefit. This March, Salazar faces two competent candidates in the Democratic Party primary. More power to them.)
