(Ed.'s Note: On July 9 - more than a month ago - that suspect strolled into the Ibissa Lounge Bar, 3101 Pablo Kisel Blvd., and with cleaning people around, strolled out the place nonchalantly carrying out a $1,000 sound mixer that did not belong to him.
The owner gave the police the name of the suspect, the surveillance videos, and the receipt showing he paid $1,000 for the mixer. We are now in August and still nothing has come about the investigation. The suspected thief 's name is Jose Andres Barrientos, AKA "Jandres," a DJ. He has an Instagram account that receives hundreds of hits and lets his followers know where he is performing. He also has a driver's license.
The victim is asking, what is the delay in the police acting on the case, returning the merchandise, or just performing their duty and having a judge issue an arrest warrant? But he's got a card from the police to show there is something being done.
Today is August 14. Will it be September of October before the victim get any relief?)
