JUST IN CASE THE PRISONERS AT DC-1,2 WANT TO HIKE OUT

(Ed.'s Note: A Cameron County employee sent us this photo where he wonders why there is a hike trail crossing from the corrections facility downtown across Harrison Street. We wonder, too. The crossing leads to the gate of the jail and the bike trail along Harrison is non-existent. Everyone would encourage prisoners to exercise, but we would think that perhaps their jailers would object to them taking the trail out toward the Rio Grande.)
