(Ed.'s Note: You didn't find too many Trump supporters in the crowd protesting his zero-tolerance policies that resulted in the separation of migrant minors from their parents. One of our seven readers who attended the protest said the national media was out in force and that the tone of the crowd verged on defiance against the administration's policies.
Brownsville – on the border of the U.S.-Mexico border has again become the focus point for the clash between ideologies since it is the site of one of the largest shelters (camps, detention centers, gulags?) in the Southwest Key facility housed in the old Walmart building on Highway 48.
The protest of those policies have centered in our city and it doesn't look like they are going to go away soon. As of today, hundreds of migrant minors have been shipped out to other parts of the country and their parents – some of them already deported – do not know where they are.)
