An FBI-task force continues its investigation into the ambulance-related alleged activities of demoted Brownsville Fire Chief Carlos Elizondo, now a lieutenant in the department, public records show.Elizondo also is on the Brownsville Independent School District Board of Trustees. Insofar as Elizondo, he frequently told ex-City Commissioner Cesar de Leon in the secret tape recording that he, Elizondo, would never harm him, not "intentionally."
Elizondo also maintained he didn't know of numerous things happening in the Brownsville Independent School District that de Leon alluded to: "O eres muy pendejo o te estas haciendo pendejo," de Leon told Elizondo, not buying Elizondo's claims of ignorance as to ongoings at BISD.
